I remember looking into the history of Hip-Hop and seeing a lot of references to Gil-Scott Heron. I have his first album and his two best albums, Pieces of a Man and Winter in America with Brian Jackson. With all he endured and stood for his life, I hope he can finally find the peace he so desperately sought in life. Farewell to a man who was never afraid to lead the charge for a brighter day.
